John

Born and raised New Yorker John Coppola brings nearly 3 decades of restaurant experience in every facet of the culinary world, from hotels, restaurants, private catering, and everything in between. After opening Dumbo staple Bread & Spread, he brought fine dining to the neighborhood with Pearl Street Supper Club.

As a chef, John unabashedly brings his Brooklyn background and love for culinary excellence to the table, always finding new ways to reinvent the plate.

Matt

Massachusetts native Matthew Brodeur moved to New York City on a dream and a whim after founding his own successful design agency– he’s a traveler, photographer, and adventurer at heart, having visited nearly half of the globe, Matt knew NYC was his forever home.

With an affinity for experiencing new restaurants and discovering age-old culinary institutions, it only felt right to sink his teeth into opening a restaurant of his own.

Born in Brooklyn, raised in the Poconos, Banks (the other Matt) toes the line between transplant and New Yorker – after moving back to Brooklyn for college, he knew he needed to do everything in his power to surround himself in the city’s creative energy.

After moving up the corporate ladder to Creative Director of a social media agency, Banks craved an escape from the 9-5 and a chance to create a third place in his hometown borough and current neighborhood.
